• Creative Portrait (Digital) you may enter up to 4 images
• Open Portrait (Digital) you may enter up to 4 images

Section Guidelines:
Creative Portrait:   Creative Portraiture portrays a person, group, or self-portrait through imaginative and artistic interpretation. While the subject's identity should remain recognisable, photographers are encouraged to use creative techniques to communicate character, mood, emotion, story, or concept. Entries will be judged on originality, visual impact, and artistic expression.

Open Portrait:
The primary subject must be a human being, and the photograph should seek to convey something about the subject beyond their physical appearance. Portraits may portray a person, group, or self-portrait and may be formal or informal, candid or posed, and can be created in any setting.

General:
A successful portrait photograph captures the essence, personality, or character of the subject through the effective use of expression, pose, lighting, composition, and storytelling. The human subject must be the primary focus of the image. Any props, clothing, environmental elements, or creative techniques should serve to enhance the portrait and reinforce the subject's presence, rather than dominate the image.
We are looking for images that communicate a story, an emotion, an idea or even just a simple moment. Although we accept imagery that has been entered in other competitions, we would love to see new ideas in original work.
